I know it's a good 6+ months away, but thinking about the future really freaks me out. The jobs I've been looking at all require MAs & years of experience & I really can't see myself spending another 3 years in school right now.
I know I want to do something with kids & psychology, but I'm having a hard time narrowing the scope down and pinpointing exactly what that will entail. I've put some serious thought into school psych, art & recreation therapies, but I just end up getting really overwhelmed when I look at all of these job requirements.
I know I'm going to have to settle for something less than perfect. And I'm okay with that. I'm 22 years old...I'm not expecting to find my dream job just yet. I know people in their 30s & older who still have no idea what they're doing with their lives. But I just need to work on getting my foot in the door & hope that things will somehow fall into place.

I've abandoned this thing for a while, but now I'm back.
In the past month I've moved into the new place, gone to Mexico, lost some things, gained some things, turned 22, and have surrounded myself with good people.

PS- What the fuck is a Yule log? (aside from being a delicious seasonal treat). The box only had things written in Italian/French.

Kaki King + The Mountain Goats = dream team.
Sooo good. One of the better shows I've been to in a long time.

Went as Waldo for Halloween & won a costume contest.
Motorcycle joyride for all of Saturday afternoon.
Discovered all this cool stuff so close to home.
Pride rock.
Dead snapping turtle. Its bones are now in my room.
Dead deer. Super cool to see. I want to come back and take its skull once the rest of it decomposes.
I love nature.

Do you wanna know a secret that I didn't tell anybody ever? You know how ducks fly home in a V? It's like a v-shape when they get home? I was walking my dog and I looked up and there's this big V above me, there's all these ducks flying back to their home. And right when they flew above me, I saw 'em and, they crashed into a big house! The whole V! And then, they hit the ground, and they just kinda curled up. You ever fucking see that? Have you ever seen a mistake in nature? Have you ever seen an animal make a mistake?
